Trenton Health and Food Systems Element

EAC staff assisted other Bloustein researchers in the Planning Healthy Communities Initiative in developing a Health and Food Systems Element intended to provide a policy framework and action agenda for expanding access to and uptake of healthy foods; increasing opportunities and pursuit of physical activity; improving health literacy and access to healthcare services; and addressing unhealthy housing conditions in Trenton, NJ.  The element also highlights the relationship between health and other Trenton250 Master Plan elements. You can view training slides that include a summary of the health element here.
